Trivia Night and New Diocesan Cursillo Coordinator

Dear Cursillistas,

De Colores! On behalf of the Joliet Secretariat, I wanted to send out a big THANK YOU to all that made our 3rd annual trivia night a tremendous success. A special thanks to Lora Vires and Karen Zeller for putting together our beautiful raffle baskets. And of course, many thanks to all of you that made donations to the cause. We are blessed to be a part of a movement with so many generous people that help provide financial assistance to candidates that cannot afford the cost of attending a Cursillo.

I also wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that my term as Lay Director has come to close. It’s been an honor to serve these past three years, especially alongside my amazing fellow Secretariat members and I want to thank each of you for all your prayers, palanca and support.

And finally, I am very excited to announce that we have a new Diocesan Lay Director, Tina King. Tina has been a part of our movement for many years, served on numerous weekend teams and is an amazing servant leader. I’m so excited for the future and can’t wait to see what the Holy Spirit has in store for our movement.  May God continue to bless you all!
