Men’s 131st Cursillo Weekend

Members of the Joliet Cursillo Fourth Day Community:

I am pleased to announce that Bill Santo has accepted the call to be Rector for the Men’s 131st Cursillo Weekend!

Bill is a member of St. Dennis Parish in Lockport and has been an active Cursillista since attending the Men’s 67th Weekend in July of 1984.

The 131st Weekend will be held from Thursday April 7th through Sunday April 10th at the Carmelite Spiritual Center in Darien, IL.  To read more about Team Formation from Bill, please see his message below.

If you feel called to work on this Weekend, please pray about it and consider joining Bill’s team.  To work on a team, you must be in active Group reunion and willing to commit to being in attendance for 10 weeks of formation meetings.

To the Fourth Day Community

My name is Bill Santo and I have been asked to serve as Rector for the Men’s 131st Cursillo Weekend.

I have accepted this assignment and I am excited, humbled and blessed to serve our Lord!  I look forward to working with the team in “planting the seeds” to bring our brothers to Jesus Christ.

Since I made my Weekend in 1980, I have worked 23 weekends in various capacities including twice as Assistant Rector. I am 72 years-young, married with 3 children and 6 grandchildren.  I live in Grand Haven, a Del Webb “active adult community”. (For whatever that means!)

Team formation meetings will be as follows:

– When: Each Friday from Jan 22nd through April 1st with the exception of Good Friday, March 25th
– Time: 6:30pm
– Where: Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Darien [MAP] 8404 South Cass Avenue, Darien

Meetings will be held in the basement. (Enter through the main entrance, turn right and head down the stairs.)  On most Fridays we will begin meetings with either Mass or Communion Service.  Please try to arrive on time!

I am also happy at this time to introduce you to our Core Team.
